The best Pregnancy Support Belts on the Market

Pregnancy support belts are wide, fairly rigid, fabric bands that can be adjusted to fit throughout your pregnancy. The belts usually sit just under your belly and helps to take some of the weight from your bump. The belts can reduce soreness associated with abdominal separation (DRAM) in the late trimesters, help with pelvic girdle pain (PGP), pubic symphysis pain and lower back pain. They can also reduce symptoms of sciatica, oedema and pain from altered postures, with the added bonus that they can be used for additional support after the birth.

It is important to note that Pregnancy Support Belts are not a ‘cure’ for symptoms, they can provide some temporary relief if you are struggling with any of the aforementioned symptoms but shouldn’t usually be used for more than a few hours at a time. Most belts are designed to provide relief when you are active, not resting, you should speak to your midwife or healthcare provider prior to purchasing one, to make sure that they are right for you and your baby.
